A cool video in which the Blue Wizards of Tolkien's setting are discussed.

Nice video. I remember the name 'Blue Wizards', but that's about it. It's nice to see a bit more of the detail of the world Tolkien created.

The notion of the Blue Wizards being something akin to liches in the 4th Age was interesting.

Yeah, the follow-up with secret cults and such was pretty interesting. That would make for a cool campaign setting to run adventures, something in Middle-Earth but taking place after the LotR timeline so the adventurers don't have to get muddled in with already established lore.

Here is the video where he discusses the sequel to LotR:

“He found himself wondering at times, especially in the autumn, about the wild lands, and strange visions of mountains that he had never seen came into his dreams.” - Fellowship of the Ring, J.R.R. Tolkien
