Latest trailer for the new Shazam! I'll check it out, looks pretty funny.

DOOM: Annihilation
Not sure about this one, kinda looks cheesy so...I'll go into it pessimistic and hope for better.

Hmm. The trailer wasn’t that intense.
I second the “cheesy” assessment.

I didn't even know this was a thing, just happened to catch the trailer before something else on Youtube. Unfortunately, it's only available if you have the streaming media service for DC Universe, which I also didn't know was a thing. :hmm:

This one I've been confused by. I see Cyborg. But was this group a comic book thing?
I'm guessing yes, I'm just not sure I've heard of them. :naz:

Same here, Ron. I wasn't sure either. I saw Cyborg and assumed this was a lead in to Titans. Apparently it was an original comic series back in the 60s and has seen various revisions since. Not one I'm familiar with so I'd be interested in seeing the show just for curiosity's sake.

It seems that the premise is they are superheroes that are “broken” in some way; physically and emotionally. Woman with multiple personalities, cyborg, pilot burned up and rebuilt as a robot, etc. I like my comics like I like my D&D, good guys beat the bad guys. As a social worker all this other stuff sometimes hits too close to home to be fun for me to (pay for to) watch in a movie theatre. I guess there’s a reason I like to rewatch the originals of Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Jurassic Park, and etc. Just action, the bad guys are bad, the good guys win. I know I’m cheesy. And old apparently.:D
