Yeah, I think this was more of just a teaser, rather than a proper trailer. Hoping we see something more later this year or early 2020.

There is never enough cosmic horror in film, but we’re about to get one very exciting new addition to the subgenre. Nicolas Cage is set to star in an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft‘s celebrated horror story Color Out of Space, with Hardware and Dust Devil helmer Richard Stanley directing — his first feature in twenty years. Good lord, that’s a mad and brilliant project, who could be behind such a thing?
Why, the folks behind the mind-melting phantasmagoria that was Mandy, of course. Color out of Space comes from ACE Pictures and SpectreVision, the latter of which teamed with Cage on his spectacular 2018 revenge horror. Principal photography on Color out of Space will kick off next month with Joley Richardson, Tommy Chong, Elliot Knight, Julian Hilliard, and Q’Orianka Kilcher also starring.

Highly recommend this Netflix series. It's hilarious, with good characters and writing. It stars, Asa Butterfield, of Ender's Game, and he shows that he does have serious potential in my opinion. I'm looking forward to the next season and Butterfield's next movie.

Continuing the Netflix love I also recommend Derry Girls. It's another funny show focused on teenagers, but the situations and responses are just too good. Plus the lovely Northern Irish accent is always a bonus.

I really enjoyed the first episode of Derry Girls, but the accent put the missus off. My grandmother was an Irish immigrant, came here at 16yo, so it was neat to hear the accent and pretty understandable to me.
And this looks interesting:

I don’t think I read that story. But this could end up SO good, but will likely be so bad.Necron 99 wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2019, 7:42 pm No trailer, yet, but info about an upcoming movie that could be of interest to folks.

I'll have to check out those two series on Netflix and see how they jive, thanks Sam.
The story is pretty good definitely adding in elements of alien horror, but also showing great tragedy to the family onto which the creature befalls.rredmond wrote:I don’t think I read that story. But this could end up SO good, but will likely be so bad.

From the original children's books, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. I think I may still own the three volumes from this series.
Next to Supernatural, The Twilight Zone is probably my favorite all time television series. Before there was M. Night Shyamalan, TTZ was twisting reality and almost always keeping you guessing during each episode. I really hope this new series does the original justice, but if not, I still have my complete set on DVD and will gladly continue watching them.
If CBS insists on pulling the "exclusive" streaming BS, like they've done with the new Star Trek, then I have no shame in pirating the series to watch it. I'm not subscribing to their stupid service when they could just as easily put it on regular syndication. If it is, then I'll watch it on my local channel like normal.

New trailer for Hellboy. A couple of scenes made me laugh and it definitely looks more gore filled than the previous series of movies. Hopefully it won't suck.
