Talk about petty! "(WotC) Creating division in our (gaming) community..." The irony of it all.

I've been musing recently over "influencers" mimicking the news outlets by using the thinly veiled (or not) practice of political baiting for social media clicks. I think Professor Dungeon Master uses it to a certain degree (although his content quickly turns to practical and objective content), and I'd say this is about the sum total of TSR's legal stunt, if not an actual con. Ha-ha! No pun intended...

At this point I think whomever is behind the new TSR needs to let this go and move on with life. I mean, come on, everyone knows that this isn't someone who was the TSR of old, this is just someone that is just trying to use the name.

Yeah, speculation floating around assumes that maybe the person(s) involved are hoping less for actually winning a legal battle, and more for a "here's a sum of money, now shut up and go away" from WotC/Hasbro. Regardless, at this point, there is nothing they could do that is going to make anyone take their company serious when it comes to the hobby or gaming.

Cheers, Lord Gill.

It's funny: the first reference I heard regarding Luke Gygax was pretty negative, based on some pretty douchey, bigoted public statements he made associated with the new TSR. Since then I've seen several YouTube videos where he has spoken at length, and he comes across to me as pretty likeable. Not to say he can't still be douchey, but more to muse on the ol' adage: "nothing queer as folk."

It was really interesting hearing about his growing up in the Gygax household and his take on D&D...
