Pipes, Pints, and Polyhedrons

Just got to thinking, hopefully the Trolls will focus on C&C, Amazing Adventures, etc. and not open up event submission to everything under the sun (WotC D&D, LARP, etc.) like other cons. A good example of another con that does something like that is Chaosium Com where all the games on the schedule are those produced by Chaosium.

That would be interesting, but if it gains traction as a growing event it will open up. Though I'd laugh my ass off if the rule was anything not WoTC.

FYI - I spoke with Davis at Gary Con about plans for Troll Con. Nothing is set in stone yet but now they're considering May 2024 in Nashville, TN.

Just saw this tidbit on the Castles & Crusades FB Community page:

Troll Con 2024 - We are working at making this happen, but we really need an Idea of how many folks would and could make it, so please vote! We would be having it in Little Rock AR, where it all started!

We are only looking at vote counts, more posts to come later about other parts of it!

Its April already and now they're putting out feelers. I'm always interested in the notion of a Troll Con but for planning purposes I'd have to work around NTXRPG, a 10-year anniversary vacation with the Better Half, and a GA trip in December to visit family. No other info yet like dates and number of days.

Yeah, I saw this too, a 5 month leeway before a convention with no actual information? Terrible idea, they should have planned this for 2025, especially since I already have plans to hit up Mythic in November; a flight out Troll country is not likely.

Exactly. They've been at this long enough to know this is not well-conceived... unless they're looking to host something at a Motel 6 for a dozen folks or some such.
