For Jen's birthday present, I bought tickets to take her to go see Walk the Moon, playing live at The Signal in Chattanooga, TN this Saturday. Most folks may not know who they are, they've had two songs I can think of on the radio, the most played being Shut Up and Dance.
Figured, why not post a couple of songs in the thread. The first one is from their 7in7 tour, they filmed 7 song videos in 7 days using nothing more than their phones and cameras. This first one is Jenny and the video is pretty funny to watch. These guys are a group of goofballs but have a strong 80s vibe to most of their music. Probably not everyone's vibe, but it's one of the few bands Jen and I both enjoy.
This is Timebomb, one of their newer songs.

As a loooong time KISS fan I've kept track of Ace Frehley's solo career through it various stages. Here's a tune I really dig from his 2014 album, Space Invader. A good message in this tune!

I saw the Crue on the Dr. Feelgood tour back around 1989. Great show! The band was at the top of its game. Who would've guessed the band would implode with Vince leaving not long thereafter? Saw them again in 2014 on their farewell tour with Alice Cooper. Vince's voice was definitely worse for wear for that show but Alice was as awesome as ever!

Cooper played the game well, imo, and got out of the business at the right time. He may not be as well known in the now, but will always be remembered as a great rock artist, unlike others who try and hold on to something that's slowly dying and get remembered for crap.

Every now and then I get on a RUSH kick. Saw them in ATL on the Time machine tour several years ago and they were phenomenal in concert! Here is one of my fave tracks from this criminally underrated band: Freewill
