Yep, going to go with a monk, leaning towards human, though I think for the purposes of this campaign I may refer to the character more as a pugilist (using monk abilities). Still have to settle on origin location and similar info.

Pugilist is cool. Nice change from "monk." I'm doing the same with my new PC. Instead of "illusionist" he'll be a Conjurer. And I'm starting to lean back towards human. Three primes instead of two is significant.
