It’ll be hard to recapture the feel of early- to mid-GaryCons these days, but NTX still has my focus on that front.

2024 may be my final GaryCon, assuming I end up going as currently planned .

Allan.
You're welcome Allan, it's been awesome hanging out and gaming with you and everyone else the years we've all been attending. I really hated making the decision to skip GaryCon next year, I didn't want to miss out on seeing everyone, but I just couldn't pull the trigger to attend again. That being said, with your mention of NTX and the quest for James and I to find somewhere else to attend, I just scoped out North Texas 2024 and it is slated for the weekend of Jun 5-9, not only is that five days of gaming but it's also the weekend that falls after my daughter's birthday.

I had not actually considered whether or not it was possible to attend until now. This year we had her party the weekend prior to her day, I'm betting next year will be the same since we could have it the weekend prior to the 3rd. I'm seriously thinking we could hit NTX in 2024, I'll let James chime in and see what his thoughts are.

I've been interested in NTXRGP for a while. Was supposed to attend on 2022 but a positive COVID test derailed those plans. Dammit.

So, yeah, I'm up for hitting NTX in 2024. Let's do this! 8-)

Since this thread is pretty moot, as we've decided not to attend, I'm going to lock it up.
