Sounds like it’ll be buttloads of fun!
Arise, arise, Riders of Théoden! Fell deeds awake: fire and slaughter! spear shall be shaken, shield be splintered, a sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now, ride now!

Hoping so. Kicking in doors, killing critters, and taking loot is fun... but there is more to playing than that. I'm not introducing calculus or sudoku to the adventure but there are places where brains are preferable to brawn.

My first GaryCon event is in, and I'll be DMing in Paul Stormberg's Friday night Legends of Roleplaying tourney again this year, in addition to running some levels from my Castle Greyhawk somewhere in there, and helping to run the Greyhawk seminar again. Should be fun!

Sounds slick Allan, I'll have to keep it in mind for wrapping up Saturday night.

What start time are you eyeballing for the Thursday Castle Greyhawk event? I'm thinking of running my game @ noon on Thursday so if yours if that evening I can keep it in mind.

Evening all around, starting at either 6pm or 7pm depending on how late the exhibit hall remains open.

Finally...
Noticed this topic on the GC site forums:
I've also noticed a few calls from the GC staff for more games and game masters, I don't remember this being the case last year so I'm wondering how many fewer games are running in 2020 than previous years.

I don't care the reason for them moving Adventure League into the Forums, it should have been done a LONG time ago. Now hopefully they move all of the old-school (A)D&D and retro games back to the main halls and rooms. Maybe now it will feel more like previous years, with the 5e crowd occupying one end of the resort and everything else at the other end.mwisconsin wrote:Yep, we outgrew everything else.

How about moving Adventurers League events to the KFC lobby down the road?Necron 99 wrote: ↑December 17th, 2019, 6:56 pm Finally...

It'll be interesting to compare the number of GCXII events to GCXI.
