This came out back in 2015 or so, I think I recall hearing about it, but never given it watch; I think I'll see if I can find it streaming somewhere. Of the reviews I've seen, both the BBC miniseries and the book are very good. I believe Allan mentioned this briefly in the literary discussion thread.
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
I've been giving some thought to reading the books of late, but haven't quite gotten them into the short "to read" pile yet.

Over the holidays we saw Avatar 2 and enjoyed it. It was a good revisiting of the original storyline without being a rehash (a la the last several Death Stars in the last Star Wars movies), and they did a good job moving the timeline forward too.
My son went to see Avatar last week, haven't heard from him how he liked it, but sounds like it's worth seeing, as much as the original.

Holy shite, this definitely looks like an Evil Dead film. Seeing a chainsaw make an appearance kinda seals the deal. Unfortunately, I think they show too much of the story in the trailer, I mean, the mom obviously succumbs to the Deadites, and from what I can see, it looks like the two older kids do too. Which means it just leaves the aunt and the youngest girl to survive. Sorta has that Aliens feel with Ripley and Newt.

Interesting premise regarding Dracula. Instead of focusing on the vampire, the focus is on the vampire's assistant and the his desire to lead a normal life again.

Clearly a comedy version based on that trailer, but it looks interesting. Having played Renfield on stage I can say I'll certainly be watching it.
I would love to try my hand playing Renfield and Dracula on stage! Unfortunately, my local community theater is addicted to comedies and musicals with maybe 1 honest-to-gawds mystery every few years. I keep telling them if the were to do something like a Dracula or a Jekyll & Hyde in the October time frame tey could put butts in seats to capitalize oh Halloween. It's like talking to empty air...

Yeah my junior college theater that ran Dracula was addicted to musicals too; because that was the only thing they could get the locals to pay to see. At least according to the head of the drama department. The new faculty member (there were 2) insisted on running Dracula over Halloween and it was the most sold out show they ever ran. It was my only brush with being a very minor local celebrity. Apparently I was quite memorable as 'that crazy guy!' Lots of school children (12+) recognized me. Some were quite frightened. It was a good time
