Oh man, can't wait. Loved the first season and this looks like it's going to be just as good.

This might be cool, a team up of Kong and Godzilla to fights something even more badass.

This one looks insanely good. I mean, it has Cavill and Ritchson, total win/win. I expect nothing bad.

It was a good show, although I don’t recall it lasting many seasons.

Interesting new Nick Cage film. Been a while since I've seen him do a more serious, dramatic part.

I wonder what the "surprise twist" will be at the end. Not enough to actually go see the film... just a smidge of curiosity.

Yet another remake. This time, The Crow, formerly starting the late Brandon Lee. The original movie is great, it was everything the 90s embodied, dark, gritty, hopeless, and the feel of the alternative music scene
Watching this trailer, I see none of that. It has the fight scenes, gun play, kicking ass, etc. But the atmosphere of the original film is nowhere to be seen. Bill Skarsgård looks like a bad ass, but he doesn't quite fit the character, and the makeup pales greatly compared to Brandon's makeup in the original. I might watch this when it hits the streaming services, but it's not something I'm looking forward to seeing.

I watched the Brandon Lee version of The Crow once. Not my cup of tea. As a teen in the 80s, the 90s was a big departure, especially the music that was pushed by the record labels. The closest I got to grunge was Alice in Chains and never was a fan of the alternative music scene.Necron 99 wrote: ↑March 14th, 2024, 12:54 pm Yet another remake. Pretty sure I'll give this remake a pass like many others.
