So I often use lo-fi music when I'm programming to distract the part of my brain that likes to go off task. Consequently I run across some strange bits of music every now and then. The first track on this video really caught my attention and broke me out of my task. Probably because I still love Starwars, no matter how much Disney tries to destroy it. I'm still listening to all of it, but I wanted share the opener

Hahaha! Nice! The Earth KISS and Fire turned out better than I thought it would. Glad Dio got some vocal in towards the end of his mashup. He was too good a singer to not be involved.

Been soul searching through some of my 90s era music. Ran across the live rendition of Alice in Chain's Nutshell from MTV's Unplugged (1996). Was one of my favorite songs back then, the live version being especially good. The way the band approaches their seats and just sets into playing is fantastic.

Back when you could occasionally find a music video on MTV between Real World and Road Rules! Hard to believe that was 27 years ago. I was still a student at Douglas County High School, but I remember listening to a lot of Alice in Chains to and from school. The mid-nineties really cemented my love of Alternative music.
