Well, with enough planning I can be available pretty much any time up until, roughly Sept/Oct because of Hurricane season and the possibility of deploying for emergency response. And even those months aren't off the table if I get some of our core staff trained up on the new system, so...

I know I'm good to play, Quinn would also be interested, but I'll have to check and see what his school schedule is like, once he gets going. Odds are he'll be free in the summer, as opposed to spring or fall. Regardless, if he is able to make it, then that's 2 for the weekend.

June / July / August works best for me. That allows time for mass vaccinations to occur and potential serious / long term side effects to (hopefully) be identified. September is a no-go due to end of fiscal year push for my squadron. October is possible but me and the Better Half are considering a trip that month so timing would be an issue.

Hopefully Q can make it. Would be cool to get him back in one of my games again after the trauma of Origins 2011.

I was hoping the world would be in good enough order (hah!) to do something in the February early March timeframe, but that is clearly not the case.

I've been warned repeatedly that I'm not going to be doing anything other than sleeping when I get the chance for the first several months, possibly longer, after my daughter is born in late March. Also due to tradition and caution we're not allowing guests for the first several weeks too. I'd love to host, but it's not likely that I'll be able to this year. I have to take the family to Europe for an extended trip in August/Semptember, and possibly won't be back until November/December. If someone else can host something during the Summer I think I can knock free some time to attend. I tried to make 2020 happen, but well the world decided otherwise. Summer 2022 is likely the earliest that I can host again.

Completely understandable.

I've chatted with Jared and he's a definite possibility for hosting the gamer gathering during the June - August time frame. We just need to figure out who is interested, who is serious, and work out an agreeable set of dates.

Eh, guess we'll have to see. I don't have any plans yet this year so far, though I would like to plan a family trip this fall, probably October timeframe to take the family north into some nice foliage country for an extended weekend getaway, thinking Vermont or similar location.

Summer gaming with the guys and Fall with the family in the northeast. Could be a great year! 8-)

The announcement was made to the group shortly after you had to depart. See what happens? You miss out on all the fun.
