Another great Viking video from Bjorn, discussing the Winter solstice on his hike. Love his clothing and campfire setting. If I ever travel to Europe, I want to look him up and have a chat with him.

Seems like a pretty relaxed and chill dude.
What would you like to discuss with him?
To what does he refer when he says "let's welcome the fight" and "we will not give up"?

As for chatting, probably many of the topics he's brought up on his channel, not to mention much of his bush craft skills.
His mention of welcoming the fight and not giving up is in relation to much of the political and social issues plaguing the world (i.e., the constant in-fighting and divide between people, Russia and Ukraine, the Middle-East, the push by many first world governments towards an Orwellian dystopia, the constant barrage of social agendas, etc.

All those folks need some fun hobbies. Just sayin'.

This is by far, the coolest survival documentary I've ever watched.

I don't watch the Colbert show, which is probably why I missed this a couple years ago, but this was funny.

Hells to the yeah! Num sayin'? The cuts to Anna Kendrick to break the flow were great!
Haven't watched Colbert since he was on the Daily Show with John Stewart quite a ways back. He was always funny as hell... and he's a gamer. Saw him roll a d20 on the show one evening.

Cool video.
In addition to Weapon v Armor Type adjustment for AD&D, this is a useful demonstration for Damage Reduction purposes with other systems. The rapier did not penetrate to a depth that would pass completely through a torso and also allow the blade to do additional cutting to the flesh. That could be simulated with a DR rating. Some systems use a flat number but I prefer some randomization accounted for in my C&C house rules.
