Hunt: Showdown

Somehow, I slipped up and never posted about this game, or maybe I did back before the site dump, either way, I'd initially picked up Hunt back when it arrived on Steam. Unfortunately, then, it was a mess and not optimized or running very well so after a couple week of playing I quit and never jumped back in until they did an official release a few months back.
Hunt: Showdown is a multiplayer, competitive, first-person shooter, set in the back swamps of Louisiana, 1895. You play a bounty hunter killing monsters, and other hunters, while searching for clues to a boss critter. Once you track down the boss' lair, you attempt to kill it, banish it, collect the bounty, and extract from the area to earn money.
I'm not usually one to go in for competitive FPS games, but this one has some amazing graphics, character choices, weapons and some pretty awesome environments in which to hunt. I've been playing for several months now and it's probably one of the reasons I took such a shine to cowboys vs monsters.
Anyhow, here's a trailer showing off some of the game.
