I'm not personally familiar with this particular setting, but a few of the people I follow in the gaming world apparently like it quite a lot. Thing is, it was abandoned by its creators. Anyway this one guy who goes by Mr. Welch really loves it. He has a series of over 200 videos on it.
And he decided to revive the whole setting on his own. He wrote a new book, hired artists, and poured a lot of his life into it, and since WoTC wouldn't give him the time of day he's giving it away! You can also donate to him if you prefer. It's written for D&D 5e, but like most things it can be adapted however you want. I just wanted to share something that another hobbyist felt this strongly about.
