Carrying over from the Gary Con 2024 thread...

Reference, NTX 2024 link: https://tabletop.events/conventions/ntrpgcon-20231
Note: The link says 2023 but it opens to 2024 since the guys at NTX used the 2023 page as a template.
Full weekend badge, $100
Registration open, hotel registration open.

Let's figure out who is interested and start making some plans... like what day we want to arrive and day to depart, etc.!

EDIT: I pulled this from the NTX FB page for hotel info.

The way I look at it, if the con starts on Wednesday, then I'd want to arrive sometime Tuesday. Since there are 4 full days of events (unlike GaryCon which only has 3), in all honesty, I would probably fly out Sunday afternoon, as opposed to staying through Monday. I'm going to assume most folks leave out on Sunday, but since I've never attended, I don't know what Sundays are like.

For rooms, I guess we'd just pair up, Quinn and I would grab a room, you and Jared could grab another. Checking price, a room with 2 queens runs a total of $680 (for Tue-Sun). We wouldn't need a rental car as far as I know, so no expense there. Should be nice and simple.

I wish the 2023 site still had events listed, I'd like to see what was running this year.

Agreed.

Emphasis mine.
Perhaps Allan can shine some light on that for us. 8-)

I think the hotel is 3-4 miles from the airport so that'll save some $$$ for folks.

[/quote]A helluva lot less 5e than Gary Con!

After reading about the shit show that was room registration for Gary Con, I'd like to move ahead with some plans for NTXRPG Con '24. I'll reach out via text to Jared and Sam and, hopefully, steer them here for discussion.

It is June 5th thru the 9th if I read things correctly. I should be good to attend based on things as they are now. There's a good chance I'll only do the weekend and I might just might make the drive both ways as needed. Though I'll probably grab an off site hotel for cheaper.

That’s odd. I was in last year’s events just a couple of weeks ago, while working on my Virtual GreyhawkCon events.

We may have an extract of the NTX events at the Legio boards. I’ll poke around to see.

Allan.
