Skirmish Game Con (Jacksonville)

I joined a FB group for a local club in JAX known as the Jacksonville Garrison to see what sort of miniature games are being run/played around the area. Their tablet-top events include not only minis, but also rpgs and board games, which is pretty much everything I'd be interested in.

The Jacksonville Garrison is a tabletop gaming club based in Jacksonville, Fl. The group's main purpose is to promote the tabletop gaming hobby, young and old alike. This page is designed to be a place to connect with other gamers and to share other upcoming gaming conventions

Yesterday, they posted about an upcoming convention called Skirmish Game Con, which is a table-top game con that is held down in Jacksonville, the only unfortunate part, is that the dates for SGC are March 1st-3rd, the same dates as Mythic Con West. Bummer. I mention this, because next year (2025), if they hold it the same time frame as Mythic West, I will probably opt to check out the con here, in lieu of driving up the Asheville for Mythic West, since I already plan to hit up Mythic Con in Charlotte, in November.

I decided to grab a membership with the Jax Garrison since it's only a $30 annual fee, figure it would be a good way to reach out and meet some of the local table-top players.

Cool find to have that right in your backyard. Maybe they'll hold other skirmish type events at other times during the year that you can jump in on and check out.
