The Bandit's Keep - Travel and Getting Lost

The Bandit's Keep is a great channel that brings up discussions for various topics for old-school play.

This recent video discusses travel, terrain, and getting lost.

Another video that I enjoyed watching deals with Encounters. I like Daniel's quote where he says, "I create situations, I do not create solutions."; this is what I think, makes old-school what it is. It's placing the PCs in an encounter and letting them figure it out, to their success or failure.

Emphasis mine.
Exactly! DMs have enough to do. Players need to be thinking, too!

Another great, thought provoking video from Daniel on "human-scaled" adventures.

Human-scaled / humanocentric adventures are what I envision doing for Coeur de Lion (aka Mythic Britain) one of these years. I would, of course, sprinkle some supernatural occurrences from time-to-time to play on the folklore, myth and legend of the time but those would be exceptions and not the rules... 8-)
