The Fantasy Trip

I went in on the Kickstarter for the revamped and updated version of The Fantasy Trip from last year. Well, the wait has paid off and my big box of "I want it all!" stuff came in earlier this week. I was able to make time today to break it open and begin rummaging through to see what goodies are contained within and man, it does not disappoint.
I've, admittedly, never played TFT currently or from back in the day, though I do know it seemed to have quite a following in the early years of tabletop RPGs. I figured this was as good a time as any to check it out and took the plunge.
If you're not familiar with the game, you can hit up this web link - About The Fantasy Trip - for the SJG site dedicated to the current edition and upcoming kickstarters for future products. This particual page details the game and what it's about. Quick and dirty is that TFT is a very basic, though tactical RPG that focuses more on the combat portion of things, using hex maps and counter or chits. It was designed for fast play and resolution instead of a more realistic approach.
Below are some pics from the big treasure box:
Core Box
Melee, Wizard, Tollenkar's Lair and Death Test (adventures), GM Screen, Map, Character Sheets, Spell Sheets, Action Cards, Dice, Folio
MegaHexes
Two Character Folders, In the Labyrinth (rules for role-playing, character creation, advanced magic, and advanced combat rules)
Battle Mats
