I don't recall where I saw this initially, but I downloaded the game (it's free) and played it for a bit and I have to say I'm really impressed. Like many of the arcade brawlers of the 90s, this one has the same style and aesthetics one would expect. For a fan game, it's really nifty. Each of the kids has their own basic and special attacks based on their weapons/items. I especially like how Presto's hat has a different spell effect each time you use it.
For a free game, I would suggest grabbing it and giving it a try. It has an older graphical look, I personally suggest using a gamepad if you plan to play, you can set up the controls in the options. Also, for video settings, I personally found the best look to be full screen, stretched, with 16bit TV Scanlines.
