Some fantastic, bad-ass news this morning. I spoke with Manny Bocchieri from Handy's NYC crew, on FB. The entire NYC crew is going to GaryCon!!!

Going to be an epic return to the con this year. Hell yeah!

And, aside from letting me know that, he also sent me a web link (HERE) with the words, "If you didn't know, Handy's ego has gotten bigger."

Back when the family and I took a trip up to New York, I did two specific things outside of the usual site seeing, visited the Tolkien Exhibit and hung out for a gaming session with Handy and crew at Handy's place. While there, I played with the group through the Chimera adventure, and now, low and behold, he has the thing published through Exalted Funeral! Very effin' cool. It's currently published for use with Old School Essentials, but when we played we were playing Hyperborea.

All in all, this news made my day, can't wait for March to get here.

Most excellent! I'll have to try and bend his ear on his publishing endeavors. ;)

Are you planning on running anything at GC? I've yet to play in one of your games so am curious...

I will, James, just won’t have time to ponder them until after this weekend’s virtual GreyhawkCon events wind down.

Ancalagon wrote: July 31st, 2022, 8:51 pm Since I intend to reduce players per session to 4 from 8, I'm thinking of possibly running 3 sessions. Maybe a Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Nothing set in stone just yet, of course. ;)
Now considering Friday 1000 - 1400, Saturday 1000 - 1400 or 1200 - 1600, and Sunday 1200 - 1600.....
My 3 events are submitted.
Friday from 1000 - 1400
Saturday from 1000 - 1400
Sunday from 1100 - 1500 or as much time as it takes

I have the remaining events that I'll be running submitted, just waiting on approval.

Currently my schedule should be:

Thursday 9am-11am: Paupers' Ladder (adventure board game)
Thursday 6pm-11pm: Warlock of Firetop Mountain (Advanced Fighting Fantasy RPG)

Friday 9am-11am: Paupers' Ladder
Friday 11am-1pm: Alien: Fate of the Nostromo (survival board game)
Friday 7pm-11pm: Crows in the Pine (Castles and Crusades RPG)

Saturday 7pm-11pm: Crows in the Pine

Sunday 9am-11am: Alien: Fate of the Nostromo
Sunday 11am-3pm: James' Into the Mines of Moria (planning to get a ticket)

I'll have open times to get into events on Thu from 11am-5pm, Friday from 1pm-6pm, and Saturday pretty much all day until 7pm, and of course make time for dealer's hall, food, and general whatever.

That's a pretty full schedule!

Do you have a publicity blurb for Crows in the Pine?

I sure does...
Welcome to Iavas Sûl (ih-ah-vas sool), the town commonly known as the Autumn Harbor and Gateway to the Hinterland.

Leafall, the annual harvest festival, is in full swing as the Bayfolk prepare for the oncoming winter. Travelers and merchants from all across The Bay and locations beyond are here to celebrate and give thanks for another successful year. However, beneath the bright decorations and boisterous laughs, behind the full music and playful merriment, all is not as it seems. From outside the stone walls, somewhere among those ancient trees and from under weathered stone, adventure has a voice. A quiet echo to most but loud enough for those willing to listen.

Perhaps the lost may be found and the old made anew. As the light of each passing day grows short and the shadows long, there is only one question to ask, "Will you answer the call?".

This is an entry level adventure for Castles and Crusades, the fantasy role-playing game by Troll Lord Games.
Pre-generated characters will be provided.
