Ran across this, I think I recall seeing it briefly once before but it is still, in my opinion, a solid 80s commercial. I just wish this it had better clarity. I especially like scene where the hobbit/dwarf is standing in the treasure room.

I remember the Dark Tower commercial. but not the D&D ones. Of course, Orson Welles makes anything memorable

Ran across this commercial for the Alien action figure, I never realized this was a thing back then. To be fair, though, I was only 5 at the time this came out and pretty sure I didn't even know what the movie was until a few years later.

Interesting fact, the BX commercial from TSR, the one in the original post above, has both Jami Gertz (Star from The Lost Boys) and Alan Ruck (Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off) as players at the table.
