I received an email today stating that Exalted Funeral, the state-side distributor for OSE, has begun shipping pre-orders out and while they have not completed shipments, they hope to do so by next Monday.

Woot! Can't wait for my stuff to get in, and to top it all off, coming up here in August, Gavin sent out a preview of the upcoming Kickstarter for the OSE Advanced Fantasy rules/supplements. I love the fact that Gavin uses the term "referee" instead of GM, it really brings it back to old-school and emphasizes the "game" aspect of the system.

Niklas Wistedt (website link HERE) designed a free PDF for OSE, to track Retainers and other party NPCs.

I'll most likely end up buying the Advanced OSE books when they're ready so I can use that vehicle for attempts to publish my own adventures.

Heck yeah, there are already quite a few folks putting out OSE adventures, and several are coming out with the OSE Advanced rules. I went ahead and ordered, in addition to the rule book, a hardcopy of The Hole in the Oak and will be getting, as part of my pledge, two other adventures that were stretch goals, if I remember correctly.

In addition to the retainer sheet, a Character Sheet has also been released.

Here are a couple of reviews of OSE... just because...
