I really hope this doesn't disappoint.

This could go SO wrong in the hands of a team that doesn't "get" Tolkien. Like the dwarves and Bilbo with the goblins in The Hobbit film. Total rubbish. I'm not a video gamer but the trailer didn't inspire much hope. It reminds me of a typical action / jump around / power up type game like Gauntlet Dark Legacy or Super Mario just with different and better graphics.
Which has me thinking that this could be a great sit down tabletop campaign. The dwarves with some help sent by King Elessar and maybe a little help sent by King Thranduil (at the behest of Legolas) launch a collective assault upon the foul denizens of Moria to reclaim it once and for all....

The opening cinematic has been released, narrated by none other than John Rhys-Davies himself. Hoping this will turn out to be a lot of fun.
