I ran across some wallpaper for my desktop that I really liked, specifically some Tolkien images. The artist of the pieces I found is Anato Finnstark, a very talented artist in France. Anyhoo, two of the pieces I ran across while browsing his art I immediately recognized from the covers of the new C&C Codex of Aihrde and Monsters & Treasures of Aihrde. What I didn't know until I found Anato's site, was that the original image used for the cover of the M&T of Aihrde, was actually a Tolkien piece titled, Ancalagon The Black!

Since I know James uses the online name, I thought this bit of round-about information and C&C tie-in would be pretty cool to share.

If I recall correctly the Dragon Ancalagon is eating in that photo is quite a bit larger than Smaug. The dragon from The Hobbit. Ancalagon was enormous!
