I thought this might be of interest for Joseph's updated OSR game. I missed the kickstarter, but definitely like what he did with it. One thing I really like is that this is essentially a TSR AD&D 1.75 edition, it maintains the feel and spirit of Gary's AD&D, while cleaning up and organizing the system confusion the way 2nd edition did.

In the OSR FB group, someone posted picks of their printed books.

Massive tomes, to say the least. I'd definitely like to get copies to fit alongside my 1E books. Someone asked what the difference was between AD&D 1E and this, Joseph responded with the following:
Around a hundred new monsters, a new initiative system (but still fully compatible with 1E), a skill system, new spells and magic items, and new classes including the ones Gary talked about in Dragon in the mid-80's (savant, mystic, etc.). Plus some other bits and bobs here and there.
Good stuff.

Hahaha, well, you're not wrong. What do you think, d6 or d8 damage taking a hit from either one of those?

Since the author is a big Greyhawk fan, I'm going with d8.
