Dan Aykroyd was guest on Joe Rogan's show recently and spoke about some pretty wild subject matter. He and Joe get on the topics of ghosts, UFOs, aliens, Crystal Skulls and also Bigfoot. I never really thought of him as an actual paranormal guy but apparently he's both seen and encountered some stuff that makes you go, "huh."

As someone whom I consider an icon from the 70s/80s, I've always enjoyed his movies. It's interesting to see him talk about these things so, matter-of-factly. Much like the Bob Lazar interview, I don't feel like he's just making this sort of stuff up. His discussions appear rational, sound, and grounded in logic and facts. He even goes so far as to say no one has to believe anything he says, but he knows what went down and that's all that matters.

Aside from Aykroyd's own experiences and opinions, I like that, throughout the interview he brings up some other incidents and events, or points to other people and sources relevant to the discussion. I had never heard of the Betty and Barney Hill alien abduction incident, I knew little about the legends and lore surrounding the mysterious 13 Crystal Skulls, and while not so much directly related, also found out that Bobcat Goldthwait made a "bigfoot-related" horror film called Willow Creek (which I plan to watch this weekend just for the heck of it), to which Joe gives pretty high props.

All in all, for anyone with the time and interest in obscure topics, I think you'll find these clips interesting and entertaining.
