As I figured would be the case, D*Con 2020 is cancelled. The con will utilize a virtual format like several other cons have done this year. I'm not sure how that will work for a lot of folks since D*Con was, during the last few years I attended, mostly for playing dress up with comics and gaming having fallen far to the wayside. Time will tell, I guess....

Yeah, bummer. Caught your text the other morning, figures too, the one year I decide to finally get back up there after a long hiatus and they drop it. I was actually looking forward to running some games for a day up there. Guess I can just plan for GC2021 at this point.

What do you think of Origins as a backup plan if things go sideways with GC2021?

I don't see 2021 getting axed, if it did, I think it might be the nail in the coffin for that convention. However, in the likely chance something happens, yeah I think we'd have enough time to plan for Origins. Regardless, as we talked about, I'm looking at Origins, or maybe even GenCon for a change, in 2022.Ancalagon wrote: ↑July 11th, 2020, 12:32 amEmphasis mine.Necron 99 wrote: ↑July 10th, 2020, 10:37 am Yeah, bummer.
