I think I saw about the first 15+/- minutes of the first Twilight film on TV. Had to turn the channel or go find something else to do. I just couldn't bring myself to squander more minutes of my life in that fashion.

Been a while since I've seen any episodes of Mad TV, but the skits with Stewart were some of the funniest ones ever produced. Not to mention Fire Marshall Bill.

Mad TV was great! IMO, SNL couldn't compete with Mad TV for comedy factor!

The series will take place during the 1960s, roughly two decades before the events of It: Chapter One.
The show will also explore more of Its mysterious origins in the cursed town of Derry. Perhaps we'll see how this cosmic entity created the persona of Bob Gray/Pennywise the Dancing Clown, which was hinted at in It: Chapter Two.
Stephen King's It is filled with rich and frightening subplots that Muschietti's films have only scratched the surface of, and this series can finally give audiences the deep dive into Derry's history that they've waited to see onscreen. Such history includes the Kitchener Ironworks explosion, the mob shooting of the Bradley Gang, and the burning of the Black Spot nightclub.

Critical Drinker and friends discuss the Death of the Heroic Man in movies.
And speaking of heroic men, I've been watching the new show Reacher, based off of the novels. The movie Jack Reacher, starring Tom Cruise came out back in 2012 which I enjoyed well enough, having not read the books. From what I heard, Cruise did well, but didn't really fit the character description, however the actor in the new streaming series is apparently a really good fit. It stars Alan Ritchson who got his start on the CW channel playing Aquaman in the series Smallville (another series I enjoyed watching in the early 2ks).
So far, I'm really enjoying the show and the cast of actors/actresses portraying the characters. The story is intriguing and there is plenty of bad-assery to go around. I'm up to about episode 5 or so and look forward to finishing out the series. I posted the trailer for the show a while back in the Movie and TV trailer thread.

I haven’t followed the Amazon 2nd Age series details at all yet, but at our All Hands meeting tomorrow morning, we will be getting a preview of the series, as well as a Q&A with the two showrunners.
Should at least be more interesting than most company meetings I’ve attended in the past

Allan.
Seems like a cool opportunity Allan, I forgot you got the new job working with them. Let us know what you think of the preview after you check it out.
