Another thing I found out, is that there are two badges, a General Badge and a VIG badge ($150, which is similar to the Gold badge at GaryCon). And, the price of the badges do not include events, you still have to pay for events you register for, which is why the badge prices are lower than GC.

Does a person with a VIG badge get early registration for events like Gold badges at GC?

Unfortunately, I also looked them up on Facebook but was a bit put out at a couple posts from the person that heads up the event. Pretty divisive posts dealing with social current events during last month and "the message" was pretty clear.

It's not a deal breaker for attending the con, but I do wish people would just game, that's all, just run/play games and have fun, leave everything else at the door. At least when Luke and Co. made their post, they did it tastefully and in a non-divisive way.

Apparently this guy thinks that if you disagree with certain agendas and identity politics, you shouldn't attend his convention and made it a point to post about it.

I'm not entirely convinced he understands how freedom works in the US, you know, home of the free and all that. Based on some of the posts on his personal FB profile, he sounds a bit unhinged and kinda comes off like a tool. Probably too much time drinking the MSM kool-aid.

However, like everyone else, he's free to his own opinions.

Yeah - I don't want to attend a smaller con that is a 5e and PF love fest.

You're correct, not dominated, but the offerings, in general, were pretty lacking. I didn't see any C&C, or PF for that matter, offered. Mostly 5e, Savage Worlds, some One Ring, Warhammer, some other RPGs I'm not familiar with. Fair amount of board games and minis.

Probably not the sort of con that would benefit 4 days, looks more like a weekend gig.

Btw, I don't know if you ran across this response from Chuck on the C&C Facebook page. You asked if there was any update about 7 weeks ago, and then Chuck responded with this 6 weeks ago, but I didn't see it until today when I was reading through all of the responses.

I am working diligently to secure us a venue, its been a challenge haha. One of the biggest things affecting that is venue availability, but I am in talks with a few places in Little Rock. That said we plan on putting out an update as soon as we have more. I can say at this point it most likely going to be after April and before October.

So it looks like the Trolls might be shooting for something after GaryCon.
