Started watching The X-Files a bit ago, currently only into early 2nd season, but it sparked some nostalgia to watch several old shows from the 90s and 2ks that I haven't seen since the original airing. Started putting together a list of shows that I want to revisit. Below is what I currently have in the line-up to watch, as time permits.
The X-Files
Millennium
Sliders
Stargate-SG1
Buffy/Angel
Freak and Geeks
Young Indiana Jones Chronicles
Highlander
Hercules/Xena
Roswell
Smallville
Adventures of Brisco County Junior
Primeval (2007)
Warehouse 13
Eureka
Haven
Fringe
Grimm
Samurai Jack
Firefly
Dark Angel
Sleepy Hollow
Supernatural
Farscape, Battlestar Galactica, and Babylon 5, are shows that I know are fan favorites but I've never watched.
Emphasis mine.
Millennium lasted 3 seasons. 1 was solid and laid some ground work for 2. And Lucy Butler was introduced in 1. Season 2 was fantastic as a new set of show runners delved more into the lore of the group and supernatural elements. Another set of show runners tried to turn the program into X-Files lite and was cancelled.
Buffy/Angel... 'nuff said!
Babylon 5 is the best example I know of regarding how to handle multiple long term story arcs with great character development. Season 1 can be slow but it lays all the ground work for what follows. B5 lasted 5 seasons but 1-4 are the best.

Was the bottom pic from Rings of Power or something? Looks like some drow and half-elves in there!
Yep. Now the elves are brave, stunning, bold, diverse, and equitable.

But why did the Good Professor stop with the slappin'? He should continued until at last he threw down his enemies and smote their collective ruin upon the poolside!

From Star Wars to Conan, to How the Grinch Stole Christmas and beyond, my childhood would not have been as awesome as it was, if he'd not played a part in it. God speed and rest well Mr. Jones, you enriched more lives than you will ever know.
James Earl Jones, acclaimed 'Field of Dreams' actor and voice of Darth Vader, dies at 93
James Earl Jones, whose acting career was every bit as rich and resonant as the iconic bass voice that gave sinister malevolence to Darth Vader in the "Star Wars" films, died Monday. He was 93.
Jones' representative Barry McPherson confirmed the actor's death in a statement to USA TODAY. A cause of death was not disclosed.
"He passed this morning surrounded by his loved ones," McPherson said. "He was a great man."
Jones was an acclaimed star of stage and screen, winning Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards, though later his unmistakable voice became as famous as his usually smiling face. He invited generations of TV viewers with the signature "This is CNN" line for the cable news channel, had parental gravitas as the brave Mufasa in Disney’s classic 1994 animated "The Lion King" and its 2019 remake, but was most famous for his signature lines ("I am your father") as Vader.
"I've done a King Lear, too! Do the kids know that? No, they have the Darth Vader poster to sign. But it’s OK," Jones said in a 2010 Broadway.com interview. "When you appear before an audience, you learn to accept whatever they give you. Hopefully they give you their ears, as Antony said."

When I complain about injecting modern day entertainment with agendas and ideologies, this is precisely the shit to which I am referring. Watch and listen to the original, then the remake.
