One of the best live performances of this song.

Another B-52s ear worm that, in my youth, I completely ignored. Glad I can listen to it now!

Ah yes, the ignorance of youth. Gotta love it. So many things missed or taken for granted.
Something, something hindsight, something something, 20/20.
B52s were not a group I listened to regularly either, but I didn't mind their songs when they hit whatever station I was listening to. Roam and Love Shack both came out in '89, I would have been 15, a freshman in HS that year. While I may have been more into the hair metal and rock bands at the time, groups like the B52s were fairly integral to the 80s decade. I'll take their music 10 out of 10 times before listening to what's on modern stations these days.

I'm a big fan of The Peanuts gang, always have since childhood. I have all three of the below DVD sets which are so hard to find these days. I also have the more readily available movie box set featuring the major holidays.
I also have a nice omnibus of the newspaper comics that my sister gave me one year for a gift. One of my favorite soundtracks to listen to during the holiday season is the Vince Guaraldi Trio edition of the Peanut's Christmas movie. Great stuff.
