The Denizens of Southeast Middle Earth Gamers League (SMEGL) are hosting their first NC Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game Grand Tournament. This is a 5-round, 2-day event. (Demos will take place Friday starting at 5pm. The tournament takes place on Saturday (Nov 9) and Sunday (Nov 10). Signing up for this event commits to both days.

That could have some potential.

I saw in the TLG Store page that they are planning a "Troll Con 25th Anniversary" convention for September 2025 in Little Rock, AR. No details this far out.

The weekend of Sept 6-7, 2025 would be cool. It allows folks to avoid the inevitable "issues" and price hikes with air travel during a national holiday (Labor Day falls on Monday, Sept, 1). That would make it early enough in the month so as to be less troublesome getting time off from work. Just thinking out loud here...
