Sounds good. I'm trying to wrap up some printing of pregens and write out some some bullet points for adventures to smooth things along at the table. Won't be long now, we'll be slinging dice again at the table.

Hell YEAH!

Any thoughts about dinner on Wednesday evening? Eat at the hotel? Taxi / uber somewhere?

From what I can tell, eating around the hotel is pretty damn sparse, definitely no Garycon or Origins. Not sure yet, I think it best to get there and see what activities and folks are there, then decide if we want to traverse out somewhere or stay local to the hotel.

Allan posted on FB that he and his son both tested positive for Covid, after returning from NTRPG. They drove there and back, so it wasn't picked up in an airport or anything on their end; someone at the con had it. As far as I know they are doing ok, hopefully mild symptoms and a quick recovery for both of them.

My most recent experience and reading indicated symptoms can appear 2-14 days after exposure. They could've been exposed before prior to hitting NTX. They definitely could have picked it up at the con with being around several hundred people for a long weekend. Being vaccinated and boosted should definitely lessen the severity of any symptoms they may experience. After the virus runs its course, their immune systems should be supercharged against covid. 8-)

It was fairly mild for me, and a bit worse for Henry (but he’s only single boosted, I’m twice-boosted, with the 2nd a different vaccine). Heather caught it from us after we were done isolating (she was exposed for a couple of days after our return), so between the con, then Henry and I isolating for 10 days, then Heather doing so, it wasn’t until July that we’re finally back into our usual family routines.

Lol. I hope so!—even if COVID itself is pretty low-impact for us health-wise, it’s still quite disruptive life/work-wise!

Glad to hear everyone recovered without prolonged or severe issues.

If this was the first round for everyone getting it, then yes, it's probably the worst you'll have; future instances should be less severe. To date, our family has been through it 3 times. We all had the "original" strain, without any vaccines, which of course was the worst for us, I had it the worst that round, mostly due to respiratory crud. The second time was pretty mild, for all of us, more like severe colds or mild flu, no respiratory issues. The third time we had it, was back in January of this year, mild again for Em and I, but Jen had it a bit worse, like having the flu.

Definitely not fun, but on the bright side, I did manage to binge quite a few TV shows when not asleep. :D
