Got in my latest order from TLG:

Being new and unused, it does tend to slide back open if closed and then consistently jostled around, but I think based on the material, after some regular use, it will lose some of the slickness that the faux leather has and should remain closed. If you put a single tie in the two straps, even a loose tie, it does remain closed.

According to the latest Ask Me Anything with Steve on Twitch, the next kickstarter will be for a new Codex of Aihrde printing. After that, they said there will probably be kickstarter for the new core books that have been scrubbed of the OGL.
No set dates yet, he said the CoA kickstarter might be in March.

I'll probably give the CoA kickstarter a pass.... unless they have some awesome stretch goals. My copy is in great shape and I'm not doing much with at present.Necron 99 wrote: ↑January 31st, 2023, 3:42 pm According to the latest Ask Me Anything with Steve on Twitch, the next kickstarter will be for a new Codex of Aihrde printing. You thinking of backing it?

Yes, I probably will. Reason being, I don't have a current copy of Aihrde in print. I have the PDF, but the last time I owned a hard copy, it was the d20 version they put out back when D&D3.x was popular and everyone was jumping on the bandwagon.

New KS is live and already funded; the new artwork shown on the KS page is badass. They also include a new Monsters and Treasures of Aihrde book and a new one called A Trail Guide to Aihrde, and an adventure.

You see the Dr. Pepper. I just want to know if the dog on the table is alive or stuffed.

Regarding the 1.0a OGL inclusion. Based on tweets from Steve when the first leaked versions came to light I think it will be removed in whole. You can't copyright game mechanics and those are completely different between the two games anyway. It's no skin off my back if the spell "Light" becomes "Illuminate" or "magic torch".

OK. That's some badass cover art! Just sayin'.
I'm all for changing the spell names. Doing so adds some good flavor as long as the names are cool. I've thought of doing so for some years if I were to ever self-publish my house rules. E.g. Magic Missile becomes Bolt of Bedevilment, Stinking Cloud becomes The Dozen Corpse Stench...
