I like the 2012 version of the song, but in all honesty, it simply doesn't hit me the way the 1977 version does.

I'll take the Rankin/Bass version of The Hobbit every time over the New Line Cinema crapfests... but that bit of live action song from 2012 is one of the few things I liked.
