Interestingly enough, I was thinking about Greyhawk just earlier this week and started reading through From the Ashes, which came out during the AD&D 2e era. Overall, I think that box set is solid and seems suitable for anyone running 2nd edition. Greyhawk is one of those setting of which I missed the boat. As I've said before, by the time I started playing actual AD&D, the group I played with was running 2nd edition and mostly either homebrew or Forgotten Realms, with the occasional jump into Dark Sun, Al-Qadim, or Ravenloft.
The Greyhawk Grognard has a video that I ran across, giving his advice to anyone getting started in the GH setting.

Joe writes a lot of good stuff on his blog too at http://www.greyhawkgrognard.com/ including 5e GH material, expansions to material started by Gary and Rob, etc. His main product is his Castle of the Mad Archmage (his homage/version of Castle Greyhawk), and his Adventures Dark & Deep OSR game (a hybrid 1e/2e clone).

I think I picked up a couple of the Castle of the Mad Archmage items and the PHB for Adventures Dark & Deep back at GaryCon or somewhere. Never got around to using them... but a lot of what I pick up is for inspiration / mining for campaign play.

Another video in which Joe discusses the deities of Greyhawk.

Another solid video comparing the Greyhawk setting to other TSR settings.

Sometimes less is more, I enjoyed this discussion.
