Fantasy Flight Games is introducing a new upcoming board game, currently for pre-order. I'll keep an eye on this one and see how the reviews are before possibly making a purchase. It reminds me of the new Mansions of Madness in play and look and so far that one has gotten good reviews.

I hate this new trend that includes/requires a smart phone to play a board game. So far I've only tried the XCOM board game and it was awful. The app took away immersion and made things way more complicated than needed.

You're not the only one, Sam. I read quite a few comments online when I visited the site for this and more than one person didn't care for the addition of the "app". I somewhat understand it, since it acts as a "gm" so that a person doesn't have to play the opposing side, but I think that there should at least be an option for having a person run the scenarios if so inclined.Captain_Blood wrote: ↑January 23rd, 2019, 8:07 pm I hate this new trend that includes/requires a smart phone to play a board game.
