While I don't usually put any stock in the Ennies or any gaming related awards, it was kind of cool to see Free League take home a fair number this year, for their games.
Gold ENNIE for Best Adventure: Vaesen - Seasons of Mystery
Gold ENNIE for Best Layout and Design: Blade Runner RPG Core Rulebook
Gold ENNIE for Best Cartography: Blade Runner RPG Starter Set
Gold ENNIE for Best Monster/Adversary: Ruins of Symbaroum Bestiary
Gold ENNIE for Best Interior Art: Vaesen - Mythic Britain & Ireland
Gold ENNIE for Best Setting: Vaesen - Mythic Britain & Ireland
Gold ENNIE for Product of the Year: Vaesen - Mythic Britain & Ireland
Owning Vaesen, I can concur that the game has both an awesome premise/setting and has evocative, unique artwork. Like the Alien RPG they have, I've been tempted to check out the Blade Runner RPG. Just not sure how often I would want to get it to the table.

Nice. I think the only hangup I have with Dragonsbane, is the inclusion of the duck race, I just couldn't pull the trigger on the KS because of that. Almost the same thing with Forbidden Lands. I did go in on the KS for that, but the inclusion of the wolf-kin and the goblins just didn't sit right so I sold it all off.
Idk why, but the anthropomorphic aspect of some races rubs me the wrong way. I liked including the Minotaur in AD&D and didn't mind the Saurials, but ducks and wolves just don't feel right to me.

I don't care for the taste of duck when I've had it at a dinner.sbaldrick wrote: ↑August 20th, 2023, 11:05 amCan't say that I am a fan of the Ducks either.Ancalagon wrote: ↑August 6th, 2023, 1:12 amDuck people turned me off of Glorantha.Necron 99 wrote: ↑August 5th, 2023, 9:59 pm
