Greg Gillespie, author of several OSR mega-dungeons such as Barrowmaze and and Forbidden Caverns of Archaia, has been working on a new OSR system. His dungeons were written for B/X, but he's now decided to put out his own, tailored version of B/X. In the video below, they preview the game and discuss some of the differences, such as a new race and changes to classes.
The new race is the Cyclopsman, based on the character from the 80s movie Krull, which is an interesting idea and actually makes for a nice addition to the standard races. I also dig his change to a more western themed Monk, which really screams Friar Tuck.
