I'm guessing you won't get one. They made a decision to remove the previous text, probably because they would rather not offend someone that complained about it or found it offensive, instead of promote civil hygiene.
You're probably right. We'll find out in just over 2 months. ;)
OK - dude at MC got back with me today saying the issue with missing language was an oversight. I went to the MC West page on tabletop events and found the hygiene statement was present. Good on him for being responsive. At least now no one attending can seriously claim ignorance if confronted about a personal stinking cloud.

My C&C scenario is approved for Friday night (event #15). Still awaiting approval for Saturday night.

The Band of Half-Brothers and the Soothsayer’s Sanctuary

You’re one of The Band of Half-Brothers, an adventuring company with only one requirement: be a half-orc. Are you a hero? HA! None of the Half-Brothers could be accused of that crap. What a stupid way to get yourself killed! The Half-Brothers are opportunists with a keen awareness of their collective and personal self-interests with loyalty only to The Band. Though not heroes, the Half-Brothers embody the “All for One and One for All” mindset sans the charm and fashion sense of other companies…

The most recent opportunity to come to the attention of the Band of Half-Brothers involves the fiefdom of Sanctuary. The Lord of Sanctuary, Theophrastus von Richtoven, has not been seen by his subjects since the beginning of spring when he traveled his lands to offer good tidings for a successful growing season. Rumors are circulating that His Lordship and family abandoned the people. Some say they’ve been abducted. Some say worse things. Whatever the case may be, His Lordship’s tower appears to be deserted; no traffic comes and goes, no men patrol the wall, and no fire smoke issues forth. His Lordship’s tribute will soon be due to The Count. If His Lordship fails to send what is due, The Count will investigate. Now seems the opportune time for some investigation of your own. A nobleman’s deserted tower should make for an easy score…

The event is set for 5 players. I used the PHB 8th printing and Adventurers Backpack* for the pre-gens which include: Archer*, Assassin, Barbarian, Bard, Cleric, Fighter, Monk, Ranger, Thief*, and Wizard so the players can mix-and-match to build the party as they see fit.

My Saturday session (event #51) is now on the schedule. I'm emailing with the MC West folks to try and get my Friday session moved to the Amherst room which is smaller and should be less noisy.

Aaaaand done. Both sessions are in the smaller Amherst room. Rachel at MC West made it happen!

Flight to Asheville and back is booked. I'm scheduled to arrive at AVL on 27-Feb-25 at 3:39 PM EST. Ben is kind enough to swing by AVL on his way in from Charlotte to pick me up then head to the hotel. Check in, get settled, then we can all go grab dinner and catch up! 8-)

Indeed, solid time, barring a few issues with sessions from other GMs, but otherwise a nice 3 day get-away trip for slinging some dice and hanging out.

Emphasis mine.
Thanks for the reminder. I just updated my convention GM spreadsheet.
